WOW!  I just recieved an e-mail from Bravenet notifying me that I have recieved an award for my blog!  This is what the e-mail said:

 

"Congratulations, Your journal has been Selected as Journal of the Week!  We are pleased to inform you that your Bravejournal has been selected as a Journal of the Week! Each week, we pick two journals to be listed as Journals of the Week based on good use of design and/or content and yours has been selected due to the outstanding job you did on your journal."

 

I was given several awards graphics to choose from and you can see what I chose by looking up at my heading.

 

Not only that but my blog is highlighted in their splash page: http://www.bravejournal.com/  I should be there (at least for today) in two areas: one towards the middle and the other towards the bottom left.  On that page you can also view the other Journal of the Week recipient.
